2015–16 Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team
The 2015–16 Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team represents the University of Iowa in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team will be led by sixth–year head coach Fran McCaffery and will play their home games at Carver–Hawkeye Arena. They are members of the Big Ten Conference.
==Last season==
The team finished with a 22–12 record, 12–6 in conference play, and finished in 3rd place in the Big Ten conference. They lost in the second round to Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament and received an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament where they defeated Davidson and lost to Gonzaga in the third round.
